Step 7: Once you arrive at the windows desktop, go to "Add or Remove Programs" and uninstall OneDrive. NOTE: I BELIEVE THIS BYPASS METHOD ONLY WORKS ON THE "PRO" VARIANT OF WIN 11! PLEASE GO WITH THAT VERSION! Setup will skip the account creation step of setup, due to you already creating a local account in Step 5. Step 6: Plug the USB into your system, install it, and go through the setup as usual. After that, tick "Create a local account with username: _" and fill it out with your desired username. Click "Remove requirement for an online Microsoft account". Step 5: A dialogue box will pop up asking you if you want to customize your windows installation. I'm writing a guide to save people in the future from dealing with this B.S. In Windows 11 (and 10, i believe) OneDrive is the biggest pain in the ass for me. After that, you're free to login to a Microsoft account.
